My complaint:
I have received numerous calls all morning and this afternoon from a number which is a mobilty number 905-376-6420, 6418 and several others that are located in Cobourg, Onario. I answered the first call and an automayed voice said, this a message from Service Canada…… i hung up as I was relatively sure it was a scam. I checked out the number on call reverse check and found that it is a scammer using these nubers. Bell Canada has suggested I change my number, block the numbers. Why should it be my responsibility since I pay them and many, many seniors are being defrauded by similar calls,
Suggested solution:
It is time in this technocoligcal age that bell find a way to address this problem without charging subscribbers for it since it is their responsibility to provide reliable and dependable communication service. A portion of my telephone charges to pay off shore call service centres who are not even Canadians.
