My complaint:
Mr. Maurice Assouline is a 90 year old Tailor whom still operates out of his Atelier (Assouline Tailleur Enr.) at 201-1118 St-Catherine West Montreal Qc. H3B 1H5. Mr. Assouline has cancelled his Bell Canada contract on December 8th 2020 after 28 years !!!!! He was paying 55.66$month while the new provider (VIDEOTRON) is charging 30$month. Bell charged 500$ cancellation fee!!! Because of the COVID19 pandemic, Mr. Assouline Atelier has been closed for almost a year; several phone calls to Bell requesting to wave the monthly bill or at least provide some sort of relief went ignored by Bell Canada. Mr. Assouline is a frail individual whom only scope in continuing working at his age is to keep his mental health by being active. Bell Canada has callously refused to show any sympathy to an aged customer of 28 years!!
Suggested solution:
Wave the cancellation fees as well as the last 2 unpaid invoices for November and December 2020 for a total of $646.77.
