Auckland Transport complaint: Didn’t stop – wasted my money

My complaint:

The bus stopping light was on, but the driver didn’t stop at the Akoranga bus station. When I realised he wasn’t stopping I pressed the button but nothing happened because the light was already on and I got up and said why didn’t you stop? He said I pressed the button too late, but the light was already on. He said he didn’t see the light. I then had to go all the way to Victoria park stop, and get a bus back from there to Akoranga.

I only had enough money for today and now I’m short to go home!

I’m late for work

Plus wasted my money to next stop!!!

Bus driver didn’t apologise- insisted he didn’t make a mistake.

Also in the chaos I forgot my puffer jacket on the bus!!

Suggested solution:

Add credit to my account
Talk to the driver
Get my jacket back
