My complaint:

I bought a mans dressing gown in the sale there was then a product recall in a national newspaper due to it failing to meet health and safety standards and to bring it into the store for a refund.
I contacted asda store where I bought it and explained I am housebound due to Gullian Barre syndrome and cannot return it.
I offered to give them the barcode on the label etc so they could send a gift card that my partner could use or I could use online etc, to be told not only was that not possible but because they knew it was mine and not my partner’s he couldn’t bring it back either.
We have shopped with Asda’s for decades, both food and George especially for school uniforms as we were always impressed with the quality and the price.
Never again will we shop there and every disability forum I visit and post on will know how a company as big as AsdaWalmart treats its disabled customers especially during Covid when so many of us had to said shield or isolate

Suggested solution:

Well a sincere apology would be nice and some form of goodwill gesture wouldn't hurt, I am shocked in this day and age that being disabled is still being treated like a lesser person
