My complaint:
I went to place my George ASDA order I had added my gift cards the total was £320.27 I added 5 gift cards that I’d saved ,I pressed pay it then went as if it was taking payment but kept spinning n spinning then a message came up saying failed executing the requested action please try again so I pressed pay again and the same message come up so I tried a 3rd time it then come up insufficient funds? My gift cards were still on the order but the balance off them were wiped to zero, I tried taking them off and reading just the same zero balance ,I had to wait till 8 am to speak to someone on customer services, I explained what happened and said I’d taken a screenshot of what the message said and the only reply the bloke kept giving me gift cards are void after ,,90 days, I explained 1 of mine was only from 2 days ago but he still didn’t understand me so I waited till 9 am and rang gift cards number the lady told me to send her an email witn all the details and card numbers and she would pass it to the relevant department so I did 24 hours later heard nothing back so I rang again ,the person on the end of the phone did not understand me again and hung up on.me I rang back I explained to the women what had happened and I’d heard nothing back she then looked through my account and she could see £138.76 o my account off 3 gift cards I said when I check these cards on the gift card balance they show zero so I can’t use them then I asked her about the other 2 with £100 on each the women kept saying they are not linked on my George account try grocery s ? Why groceries I added them to y George account same reply from her then it dawned on me I have a screen shot and on there is one of the cards she’s saying I had not added so I pointed this out to her she then said that’s not proof?? I asked how I can complain her reply was I am the complaints mam? So tell me what your going to do about the £200 lost on your technical error I’m sorry mam u have not activated them on your George account try groceries I was absolutely livid and still am I’m still without my vouchers and they don’t care less
