My complaint:
I had tickets booked for myself and my family a total of 5 tickets and our flight was canceled due to government regulations and COVID19 restrictions. Our flight was leaving June 7 and returning August 20th from IAD to Khartoum Sudan with Ethiopian airlines. The airlines canceled the flight and informed ASAP tickets informed us late. I regret booking through ASAP tickets and will never make this mistake again. The agent we booked through Named (Surya) is refusing to answer my phone calls or help us rebook our tickets to July 10 without adding charges, charges that will cost me an Arm and a Leg. I have contacted everyone there is to contact, Ethiopian airlines, the attorney Generals office and on top of it all I cannot speak to a supervisor, the agents I call are refusing to connect me to a supervisor because they are afraid of getting in trouble. I am exhausted from fighting the airlines and ASAAP tickets. All I want is to get a descent flight for a fair price to travel to Sudan for my wedding. They took $5244 from me and now expect me to pay $3000 more to them for changing a date when I had nothing to do with the flight being canceled I get that Ethiopian airlines is a nasty airlines but I purchased the ticket from ASAP tickets therefore, they should be the ones to help me solve this problem either refund my money or change the date to my desired date at no additional cost. But you cannot expect decency from either the airlines nor ASAP tickets.
Suggested solution:
They should refund me all the money I paid them or book new tickets for me without charging me $3000 more for fair change, I did not cause the coronavirus and I shouldn’t be punished for it happening!
