My complaint:

On Nov. 22, 2021 I flew flight 5183 DCA to Buffalo. Flight attendant demanded I put on (my) mask before boarding the plane even though I was already wearing one, and wearing it properly. Adjusted it best I could to try and appease her. Multiple times during the flight same flight attendant harassed me about my mask for no reason, I didn’t even remove it to eat or drink because of her behavior. Not sure what set her off but it was a nightmare. at the end of the flight she handed me a card saying I violated mask policy and might not be allowed on any more AA flights. Currently trying to resolve with AA but so far it is fruitless. Meanwhile I could see 4 other passengers actually wearing their masks under their noses and this was not ever addressed the entire flight. Of note I am a nurse practitioner with 30 years in the medical field and deal with plenty of COVID, wear masks every single workday. I also recently finished many years as part of a flight crew. Ridiculous to say I wasn’t wearing a maskwore it improperly.

Suggested solution:

1. No prohibition against flying with American
2. In writing, retract every report to any person or agency (i.,e., FAA, TSA etc.) where it was reported that I violated mask policy and send me written proof that this has been done
