My complaint:
Received an email at 12:30 am that my 11:50 am flight was cancelled on Monday, May 30th with no explanation. Spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to find a flight out of Orlando that would get me home prior to Wednesday, June 1st. The only flight I could find was on Tuesday, May 31st but that flight was from Orlando,FL to Pensacola,FL (my original final destination was Mobile, AL. Pensacola is over a hour away).
Suggested solution:
I would like to be compensated for the following:
-the mental anguish I experienced after spending 4 hours on the phone trying to find a flight home
-the loss of income from missing 1 day of work
-had to give a friend gas money to drive from Mobile, AL to Pensacola, FL to pick me up from airport
