My complaint:
Our flight light TS206 on August 23rd was delayed by 24 hours due to a technical fault. Although the airline provided accommodation during the delay, myself and my partner were required to take additional unplanned time off work, which we had to take as unpaid leave.
Air Transat reported that an unexpected fault with the engine lining was the cause of the delay. Air Transat reported that this failure was not part of a planned maintenance, however as owners of the aircraft it is within their control to maintain it.
