My complaint:

My name is Jose Pereira De Sousa. I’ve been flying over 4 years with Air Transat. This year was the worst flight experience I’ve had. On August 10 2022 my wife and I flew to Portugal for over three weeks. I’ve been flying first class in the time I’ve flown with Air Transat and never had any complaint’s but this year they but us at last moment without any knowledge of plane changes to a plane company Called Hy-Fly. Well here is where everything went terribly wrong. I suffer from severe IBS bad back and spine issues that’s why I pay good money to fly comfortably. Except on this flight I was given a normal tight broken back seat, for 7 hrs I sat in pain which not only did my back go out but it also set of my IBS. We arrived in Portugal I had to be rushed to the hospital in Porto and from there I spent two weeks in and out of hospitals. I’ve got letters from the hospitals explaining what had happened and results of my condition throughout these hospital stays. I’ve only enjoyed one day out of 25 days that our trip was to be. Now my request is a refund on my trip that’s all I ask. So next year we can try again without issues. Or I will be forced to get my lawyer to go after trip expenses like car rental, hotel deposits and payed accommodations that were payed in full with no refund. I’ve been going to Portugal ever year I changed from Sata to Air Transat and fell in love with first class seats and service. We’ve lost our daughter 7 years ago and my wife fell into depression and never wanted to fly anywhere I finally got her to go and this whole trip was nothing but a disaster and a very bad experience for her to be alone while I was in the hospitals. Not a good experience. Not impressed on this hy-fly planes you use to substitute for yours. My booking number was F2JBHE Please review this and get back to me. Thanks for your understanding.
