My complaint:

I had a flight from Mexico City to San Jose, Costa Rica. My layover was in Mexico City. The airline changed the gate without notifying me personally, over intercom, on the flight board, or electronically. It wasn’t until I approached the gate the 2nd time that I found out the gate had changed, and by this time it was too late to board. I was sent to the ticketing counter where they rebooked my flight for the next day. They gave the customer in front of me and behind me a hotel and food for the night for the same flight and situation, but they made me find my own hotel. When I asked for room and board, they lady said she couldn’t help me, but the other passengers ed that she helped them. I had to spend money on a hotel, uber, and food delivery resulting in financial loss. I also believe I was the victim of discrimination by this airline based on my race.
