ADT complaint: If it doesn’t work, why have it?

My complaint:

A few weeks ago, a rep changed the contact on one of my doors. I was surprised he did not check them all since they have been in place for about thirty years! This is not consistent, but I can set it for instant and find either the front door or back sliding glass door open in the morning. The one he changed also sometimes says the door is open when it is not – same for the front door. I have found your reps on the phone to be nothing but rude. I am 87 and just out of the hospital, so the running around your rep wanted me to do is just not reasonable right now. Beside, this is not a consistent thing – but happens several times in a week.

Suggested solution:

I'm not tech savvy in this area, but it seems logical to me that something as old as my system may well need a completely new set of contacts plus a check after installation to see that they work correctly. In all fairness I should be given credit for these months when it has not done what I paid for, but that won't happen! Thanks for your help. I will say that the workers who come to my home could not be any nicer. Thanks for that.
