ADT complaint: Sold wrong camera and service won’t modify contract

My complaint:

Hello,

I signed up for new service with ADT. I requested a floodlight camera several times, and was told by both the sales representative and the install technician that they didn’t offer one. So I bought a plain camera.

However, 2 days after my system was installed, I found out through a simple google search that they in fact did sell the type of camera I had asked for. I spoke at length with the service center, who told me in order to replace the camera, I had to pay a $99 service fee, and pay for the camera in 3 monthly installments. He insisted that the contract could not be modified because the amount was too small, despite being still within the rescission period. And he refused to transfer me to a supervisor. My salesperson and technician have been unresponsive.

I want this escalated to someone who can resolve this. Thank you.

Suggested solution:

I want the camera i originally requested added to my contact and installed, no additional cost to me but the monthly payment.
