I purchased a Junior 3 supercar driving experience for my daughters birthday 28th March 2020. As there is a small thing called a global pandemic of Covid-19 I am obviously unable to book. The website also (even now 18.02.21) that they are not taking bookings. They have been closed throughout the whole ordeal. I have been checking my Wowcher periodically to ensure that it was still there and always checked there if was a ‘date of use’. At NO TIME has there been an expiry date given nor have they sent an email to advise that ‘time is running out’. I mistakenly thought that due to Covid and the nature of the Wowcher (unable to social distance in a car), that it would stay until restrictions had lifted. I Whatsapped you to detail the above and was told that as it has expired I have lost the money. When I asked who had my money (thinking it may be the supercar people), I was told that Wowcher had the money! Unbelievable. I asked if it could be put in my wallet but was advised – no its expired and all you can do is contact the merchant to see if they will extend. Why it is up to the merchant when they have not had the money is totally bonkers!
You have my money and have at no point tried to ensure that I get it back.
You should credit my wallet with £129 so I can use at a later date. If I had known that it would expire do you not think that I would have requested this in advance of expiration or do you think that I can afford to lose £129!
