My complaint:
On 2172023 I reserve a room at woodspring on I-35 in live oak near San Antonio Texas and before 3pm I arrived and as I arrived they charged my card for 61.15 and upon arrival the clerk has a receipt only showing a charge of 53.00 and said he didn’t charge my card when I had the text from my bank then as I’m checking in he said he was going to charge 319 the remainder of what I owed and so I swiped My card I received notification that he tried to charge my card 366 which my card denied I had just enough on this card to pay for the room for a week 3 times he did this I swiped my card and he charged 366 saying he was charging 319 while I got 3 text from my bank which I have included he kept saying it was my bank charging more which it was not my bank wouldn’t charge a extra almost 50 bucks he got mad.
When I kept asking about this and showed him the text and then cancelled my stay said he refunded the 61.15 which is still charged on my card and he even tried to write some number down saying it was ny ation that he refunded my money I spoke with my bank there is no refund been made and my bank can’t refund my money cause of the type of transaction it is so I’m out 61.15 when my actual room was supposed to be the 53 his receipt showed something very fishy about this that he had a receipt showing he charged 53 when he actually charged my card 61.1t5 and when he charged the remainder that was suoo6 to be 319 on the card machine it showed 319 yet he actually charged 366 as you can see 3 times to my card thank goodness.
I had just enough on that card to cover the total of the room or he would have gotten 366 or tied my bank card up on a hold and I’d been without a place to stay there is something seriously wrong whhe you tell residence your charging one amount and charge another then I showed him as the text came through right as he charged me he became irrate cancelled my room supposedly refunded the 61.15 but he did not I would like ny 61.15 back in
