My complaint:
I went into Woodsprings Hotel at San Angelo, Texas. The front desk clerk is absolutely the rudest person I have ever encountered. I would love for cameras to be viewed to show the level rudeness and craziness this lady displayed. She stated she has until midnight to have my room ready. I was there to check in around 4:30 and right away she was rude and very aggressive. I questioned why my room wasn’t ready and she stated “we’re short staffed“ in a very condescending tone.
I then asked how long it would be and that’s when she lost it! She said “I have the right to refuse service to anyone and I have cancelled your room.!” I asked her why she cancelled my room. She told me the cops had been called and closed the partition while I was asking questions. This lady needs a job change because she obviously cannot work with people. I asked her where the nice lady was that helped me the last time I stayed and she said we’re under new management.
I asked for her supervisor and said she was the manager, supervisor and owner. Now, I knew that was a lie! This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever come across. I will NEVER give them my business again. I will tell as many people that will hear me, to NOT stay at Woodsprings Hotel in San Angelo, Texas. I have been trying to contact General Manager and have been unsuccessful. I will continue until I speak with someone.
Suggested solution:
I would like for this front desk clerk to be reprimanded immediately and apologize for her behavior. She left me without a place to stay because she chose to cancel my room because she didn’t like the questions I was asking. I would love for the cameras to be viewed so her behavior could be corrected.
