My complaint:
I purchased various items from Wayfair UK online. I requested to cancel the chest of drawers and two side tables and was told that I couldn’t cancel as it has already been shipped.
Months passed and I did not receive the items.
Eventually I got and update that the system had a problem and that they were delivering now.
I again asked for cancellation upon which they now did but then charged me for return shipment which was more than the cost of the purchase?!
When I said that they should then rather deliver as I did not accept the excessive return charges, they said I would have to reorder the items as they have now returned it… !?
Fact is I never received the goods. It was never delivered to me. I should therefore not be charged for return costs!? And definately not at such excessive charges!! There is also moone to escalate complaints to… Just the call centre agents that give standard replies….
Suggested solution:
I want to be refunded the full amount for the goods and refuse to pay return shipping fees!
