My complaint:

I started purchasing a car on Jan 15, 2023. I wired Vroom.com over $25000 in cash for a vehicle and agreed to let them purchase my car as a trade in. I uploaded all the documents beforehand and was assured everything was acceptable; sent them the actual lien letter that my trade was paid off and this is where we get stuck. They are now telling me my paperwork for my trade is no good and I cant get them to send it back to me. I have been requesting it back since Jan 20th, 2023 so now they have my money and my title for my trade in and I have nothing. Its impossible to get someone who speaks understandable English and even more impossible to get a supervisor to help. I called 2 or 3 times a day and they are clueless. They expect me to just wait around while they hold onto my money and title. I just got a call from vroom as I am filing this complaint and they advised me if I pay them $400 more dollars they will obtain the lien free title for me or send me the paperwork back. Well I have been adking for the paperwork back since 1-20-23. This company is ridiculous. I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy a car online especially from Vroom.com

Suggested solution:

They can send me my title and lien letter back, waive the fee to process it themselves, send me the car I purchased or every dime I sent them including the deposit and wire transfer fees so I can walk into a physical dealership and get me a new vehicle
