My complaint:
I have been a client of the VOA for a few years. I am renting a apartment in a VOA owned complex. I have been tortured by another VOA tenant since last December. This tenant will yell and scream for hours almost nightly and some days. The yelling often includes that he is possessing firearms and that he will be shooting the other tenants here. I first reported this criminal behavior last December. I was told they have to hear it before anything could be done. So I went and got a VOA employee he listen to the screaming He went and stopped the yelling for a few hours and then it started again. I was then told to phone the police when it happens again. Basically the police have been here over a dozen times and they quiet the problem down until the next day. The last time they heard his threats and brought him to the hospital. This did nothing the day after he returned the criminal behavior was back in full force. The VOA then changed apartment managers. I then reported it to them and was told We have to hear him. That is exactly what I told last December when I first reported the problem.
Suggested solution:
The VOA should remove the tenant from the property.
