My complaint:
I filed a complaint with better business bureau and was not happy with outcome.
No this does not bring this matter to a close as I did not violate any user agreement. I was a victim of a scam and fraud and because of that made an attempt to obtain money back. A company is not acting in good faith or best interest when a person is a victim of a crime and then reports the crime and is then punished by the company for being the victim.
I want your company to look prior to the time period in which I was a victim of a crime 2/2023 to 6/2023- prior to this please tell me if ever once I violated Venmo’s user agreement- the answer you will come to should be No,
Please restore my account if I at all violate your terms of use then feel free to permanently limit me. I am happy to provide any documentation to prove identity. Acting in good faith means protecting consumers and understanding that I was a victim of crime. Please see attached where I submitted evidence on this matter to my local police department
Suggested solution:
Reinstate Venmo account. I am happy to prove identity and reset password or do whatever but want my account reinstated as I was a victim of a scam
