My complaint:
I’ve been an Uber eats driver for the past 2 months. I applied and they told me I was approved to drive. They gave me a time limit to turn in documents. Everyday for a week the customer service reps called and harassed me to submit the documents before they were due. After submitting I continued to drive. I tried to link the Uber card that was sent to me and my personal debit card to my account. I keep getting an error message. I did the help button in the app and was told a specialist will contact me via email within 48 hours. It’s been 9 days and nothing. I have money just sitting and a customer service supervisor told me she doesn’t have to release the earnings if she doesn’t want to. Ask for corporate number she placed me on hold for 30 mins came back to the phone saying “ omg you’re still holding” then stated she doesn’t have corporate number and hung up the phone in my face.
Suggested solution:
Release my earnings like they stated previously and retrain the supervisor because he behavior is uncalled for and unacceptable.
