My complaint:

Uber Eats has completely scammed me. I got an email saying that for first time Uber Eats customers get $25 off your first order. As I have just moved to this area and am broke I figure why not get some dinner and lunch for tomorrow at a discounted rate? So I purchased a Uber Eats giftcard on amazon and put it on the account (not a fan of putting my actual card on these apps) and went to place the order. Uber Eats required me to log in to a facebook account to verify myself? Wtf… It is 2022 I do not haveuse Facebook.. So I create one specifically for this.. I go to verify and it says I have to wait an hour… So I wait an hour and go to place it again, now it says you HAVE to add another payment option then you can use the uber cash for the order… Holy shit this company is literally trying to scrape every bit of data they can on me so I can get lunch.. I use my card.. which I was trying to avoid doing the ENTIRE TIME, and then they say we’re sorry this promotion is not valid, please remove it from your account. Holy shit this garbage company has wasted 3 hours out of my day already…

I go to reach out to their customer service line (the most useless people I have ever encountered in my life). I am getting cookie cutter responses from each of them copy and pasting the same line into the chat. After one of them finally moves me to go to someone that can review my account the guy Deepak (may none of you ever have to deal with this troglodyte subhuman piece of trash) tells me oh uh go ahead and restart your device and then the promo should work. I do so. It does not work. I inform him, and Deepak the 23iq piss drinker tells me Yeah go ahead and just place the order at full price and I will manually apply the promo. I told Deepak that option is not possible as I do not have the balance to cover the full amount without the promo, which is why I am using the promo in the first place. I am almost certain this was too complex of a statement for Deepak (who somehow was able to get a job other than scooping shit). Deepak continues to insist I do this after I have specifically explained it is a literal impossibility. So he says well thats the solution and ends the chat.
So I try to connect to another person and they say okay blah.. blah.. blah.. let me review your account then they come back and say Oh well that promotion was removed from your account for a breach of terms of service

Excuse me? So because this glue-fed moron didn’t like that his solution doesnt work he removes the promo from my account? I requested to file a complaint from about 3 more agents after than and was told the same cookie cutter copy and paste responses from each..

Deepak or whatever his real name his, I sincerely hope that you stay at this job forever and when you look back on your life at 75 years old laying in a hospital bed with your ex-wife and child who despises your existence, but still came to see their dad before he died, you are miserable and literally die knowing your existence was nothing more than a cog in a useless machine designed to make customers unhappy at a food delivery app.

Suggested solution:

Give me a $15 uber eats giftcard so I can give it to someone else who can ruin their life trying to use this app. Keep Deepak in the same position for the rest of his useless life. Do not promote deals that you refuse to support.
