My complaint:
I ordered some fish chips for my family Friday night (02/09/2023), paid £40.84 but never received my order and was in fact given someone else’s order! I tried ringing the driver straight away but the call didn’t go through when I got through to the restaurant I spoke with the owner who ed my order had never left the restaurant with the driver. Uber Eats is refusing to give a refund despite me sending a picture of the receipt with this other persons name order and amount paid to them.
Suggested solution:
They should be giving a full refund to me including the priority delivery amount as a refund due to me not receiving my order but being given someone else’s order and their incompetence to actually look at what’s been sent to them.
