My complaint:
This place is an absolute joke with disgusting customer service following various messages and calls to them I am still out of pocket. I placed an order for a takeaway which was cancelled by the takeaway supplier, we chose not to re order. We then noticed some days later we had been charged for the full amount of the cancelled order. Uber eats state that we cannot get a refund as they are ‘bound by policies’. So in short we have paid the full amount for a takeaway which we never received which we didn’t even cancel, this is daylight robbery. How can these get away with this?!!!!!
Suggested solution:
Provide refund of the full amount.
