My complaint:
Filed at complaints.biz
I placed an order totalling £45.94 (including a tip for the driver) for delivery from McDonalds, Snipe way, Ashton. It was cancelled without notice why. I filed a second order for £44.95 (excluding the tip). It was cancelled. This time I was told that the same driver attempted delivery, including sitting outside our house for 19 minutes.
Neither time did I have any communication. No phone call. No knock at the door. I had to place the order a third time, it being assigned to a different driver, before we got the order.
I complained within the uber eats app. I was told that the driver had attempted delivery. He did not. We were watching out of the window since the first order was cancelled. We were hungry. There was no one outside our house. No knock at the door. No phpne call. When the third order turned up, he told us it was new rules to photograph the delivery. No problem. But where is the proof the first driver attempted delivery. There isn’t any because he didn’t attempt delivery.
I have now paid three times for one order. I want my money back. Uber eats said they would not refund me. This is theft!
Suggested solution:
I want my payment of £45.95 and £44.95 back.
