My complaint:
I ordered through Uber eats for kids on Friday. The order was cancelled from
Uber and I received a message to say held money would be returned. So I ordered again and it went through.
Monday they have taken both lots of money. When I complained and asked for my refund they said it not been refunded as over 48 hours.
I couldn’t have complained sooner as money only left my bank this morning.
Surely they cannot charge for something they cancelled
Suggested solution:
They should pay my money back. Plus some for taking me in my overdraft and having such poor customer service when replying to my complaint. They offer no further assistance to their response. Three times I asked for a call and twice I asked how to take complaint further and they reply with it’s been on 48 hours so no money to be returned
