Turkish Airlines complaint: STUDENT TRAVELING FROM NIGERIA TO UKRAINE FOR THE FIRST TIME WAS FORCED TO PAY ANOTHER TICKET FEE WHEN MISTAKENLY MISSED FLIGHT

My complaint:

MY SON IZUNWANNE SOMTOCHUKWU GERALD GOT ADMISSION TO STUDY MEDICINE IN UKRAINE UNIVERSITY. OUR TRAVEL AGENT BOUGHT THE ATTACHED TICKET FOR HIM AND HE TRAVELLED AS SCHEDULED.

WHEN THE FLIGHT LANDED ISTANBUL TURKEY ON TRANSIT, HE COULDNT CONNECT TO THE NEXT FLIGHTTERMINAL WHICH RESULTED ON HIM MISSING THEIR NEXT FLIGHT TO UKRAINE. THIS IS HIS FIRST TIME OF TRAVELING OUTSIDE NIGERIA, SO HE COULDNT TRACE THE NEXT FLIGHT TERMINAL AND BY THE TIME HE GOT THERE, THE FLIGHT HAS GONE. HE WENT TO COMPLAIN AS A STUDENT AND YOUR STAFF THERE MAINTAINED THAT HE MUST PAY FOR A FRESH TICKET INSTEAD OF A SURCHARGE WHICH I KNOW SOME OTHER AIRLINES DOES.

HE PLEADED WITH THEM AS A FIRST TIME STUDENT BUT THEY REFUSED AND HE WAS MADE TO PAY ADDITIONAL $700 FROM HIS SCHOOL FEES BEFORE HE WAS BOARDED TO ANTHOER FLIGHT TO UKRAINE (TK 0441 Y OF 28 AUG 2021)

Suggested solution:

I HEREBY APPEAL TO THE MANAGEMENT OF TURKISH AIRLINE TO LOOK INTO THIS CASE WHICH WAS NEVER A DELIBRATE ACT BUT PURE IGNORANCE OF A NEW STUDENT TRAVELING TO UKRAINE FOR SCHOOLING FOR POSSIBLE REFUND OF THE SAID MONEY $700 AS THIS HAS AFFECTED HIS SCHOOL FEES PRESENTLY.

THE COST IS SO MUCH TO BEAR AND WE PURCHASE TO AND FRO TICKET FOR HIM TO SHOW HOW PASSIONATE WE LOVE THE AIRLINE. KINDLY ASSIST US FOR A REFUND
