My complaint:

Hello I have been a customer of Truist bank for quite some time now and I am truly disappointed and disgusted with their customer service. I had a work from home job that I got hired for and the company sent me two checks and unawares to me the check they sent to my account were bad; so I spoke to fraud department only to find out that they locked my card but I could still deposit money into my account but can’t use it. I have 3 young children and they money that’s in my account I can’t use because they locked my card and said they are doing an investigation. Now this is the first incident that has happened to me since I open this account with this bank. No one could tell me when they would give me my money in my accounts and they would not let me open another account with them. Even though I have proof of everything and there has not been any other incident of fraud on my account since I opened it until that incident. My young children are sick and are in need of essential things and I have no money to get them anything due to the fact my money is locked up on my account and it’s been past two business days since they said someone would get into contact with me and no one has done so. I am highly disappointed with Truist bank and I definitely would not advise anyone to bank with this bank at all. These people have no regard or care for any situation they put you in because of a simple mistake and also I was not made aware that my card was blocked until I called them. I wasn’t sent a notice or an email or anything about my account and then blocking my card. They just do whatever they want to do and never informed me of anything going on with my account. I definitely will be writing a letter to the chief chairman of the company and also to the president.

Suggested solution:

Reopening my account and card because there hasn’t been any fraudulent activity since opening my accounts until that moment. Also to send out notices to their customers that there might be issues with their account before blocking it.
