Trip.com complaint: airline willing to refund – but Trip.Com is keeping the money!!!

My complaint:

We had a flight on Air Seychelles on
November 30 and the flight was cancelled BY THE AIRLINE
due to the breakout of Omicron and Israeli government ban on
flights to Seychelles. Air Seychelles posted this cancellation
on their website as well as sent us an email saying we are
entitled to a full refund. Our friends that were with us on the
flight, but booked with other agents (like GOTOGATE) have
already received their full refunds. But Trip.Com is messing
around with us for many months with emails that are just
saying over and over again repeated incorrect information. I
have called them so many times and each time they promise
they will seriously address our complaint and that if we send
them the proof from the Airline they will be able to seriously
escalate the issue and come back to us. Each time I resend all
of the information and proof and again after a few weeks, we
get an email with the same response they sent before –
obviously the issue was not checked at all!!! We are filing this
complaint after many months of emailing and calling Trip.Com
without getting any reasonable support from them – they just
keep writing the same messages in their emails and wasting
our time. We are so disappointed and feel so helpless. They
owe us more than $2000 USD which they are literally stealing
from us!! Our booking number was: 16475452085 WE HOPE
