My complaint:

I recently purchased a TracPhone with a one-year service program. I tried to use the app to activate it and it would not go past the point where my old number was to be ported to the new phone. (My old number was with Google FI). So, I went online to try to get ir resolved. I was chatting with an agent, and he asked me for some information and then just activated the phone with a new number without even asking me if I wanted to port my old number. When I brought this up to him, he abruptly just ended the chat. I then opened a new chat with a different agent. She would not port my number without me buying a new plan and said that I would forfeit the service plan that I already paid for. I argued back and forth with her for a long time, finally, I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said she would schedule a call back from this supervisor within 15 minutes. I agreed, but no one ever called me. I had to uncancel my old service so my number would still work. I don’t know what to do next. I saved a copy of of the chat session.

Suggested solution:

I would like my number ported to this new phone without losing the year subscription service that I already paid for.
