My complaint:

I paid for a year of service on 5822, when the Verizon migration sent a new Sim card, it did not work in my phone (iphone bought new from apple in 2020) Apple says it is fully capable of working with 4G and it is a problem with Tracfones serviceSim. Tracfone told me there may be a dropped call or text but not for quite some time on 8422. On 8522 I had no service, no calling (except straight to tracfone) no texting no data. I spent 10 12 hours on the phone and on chat online trying to resolve the issue. Nothing was resolved, every single agent gave a different reason and then told me to turn offthen on the phone. Nothing. Today, 8622 my phone number has been completely deactivated on my tracfone account. It says my service expired today 8622 and was only valid for less than 3 months, while saying I purchased a 365 day plan. Customer service said I would have to purchase another plan to activate my phone that was not working in the first place.

This is maddening. They want me to provide a phone number for them to call me, I spoke to them for 10 hours yesterday and it didn’t help. I pay them for a phone line, so shouldn’t they be providing me with the line? The website says in regards to the Verizon migration

We will contact you when there is an opportunity for you to transition to receive service over Verizon’s network. If you require a new device or SIM card for the transition, we will make a compatible one available to you at no cost.

They really need to fix this issue, I like others here am disabled and have medical conditions which I need access to family and emergency services if needed. It was also suggested to me that I take a walk around the neighborhood and see if I could pick up any bars (in the middle of a downpour, disabled, at night. brilliant)

I expect my service to be reinstated (I am a long time customer of 7 years) and I expect it to be done quickly. I am already without service for 2 days and cannot contact them anymore. If they cannot fix it, I expect a FULL refund.

Suggested solution:

Reactivate my account with my fully paid for data and unlimited minutes and texts. Quickly, as I have already been without service for 2 days. Some type of compensation for the time and energy (between yesterday and 645am this morning ak time) I have logged over 11 12 hours between phone calls and online chat.

If they cannot do that- I expect a FULL refund
