My complaint:
After two weeks of waiting for the salvation army to pickup a FREE Hooker computer desk, they walked away saying because it was missing two cheap panels on the back of the desk (meant to be against a wall anyway) they would not take it. This was a good, fully functional desk with slides, drawers in great condition. Plus, a near new metal luxor metal expanding desk top for a computer monitor.
We have donated in the past, but no more. For under $15.00, two handi-panels could be put on the back and would never be seen. Their loss. It will go to a Hispanic family that had wanted it, but told Salvation Army was promised it. Never again.
Suggested solution:
Can\'t. Will never use such a picky outfit again. Maybe good will or a hand-me-up store locally.
