My complaint:
Sunday morning it was raining outside, I come back from the bathroom and am locked out of my room. I go to the desk and ask if I can at least get my jacket before leaving and Mr Dixon then tells me that I need to get my things together because he is locking up.I retrieved my jacket and sat at the bus stop all day with it raining off and on.I was later told by someone else that I could have gone to church at nine and shouldn’t have had to leave but Dixon did not present that opportunity. When I came to the door at lunch time he acted like I wasn’t there I stood there ten minutes before deciding he could have lunch. When I was allowed in at 4:00 he then asked me about my exit date which is tomorrow but it was obvious that his intentions were to let me sit outside in the rain all day just to see if he could throw me out at 4:00….I was let in but when I asked if I could get my room unlocked Dixon said just chill and give him a minute. It’s 5;20 pm and my door is still locked. Thank God the Dannon Project that only brought me here for a few days is picking me up tomorrow to take me somewhere else… I would rather sleep under a bridge in the cold than be treated like trash and sleep here ever again.. I get it I am currently homeless,I spent 365 days in jail for traffic tickets and was just released during that time my wife was killed,my baby sister died and I lost everything else like my vehicle and home. But I get it now I am a homeless piece of trash in that man’s eyes and should be grateful for even being allowed inside but I promise everyone that reads this you will not be bothered with me nor ever see me here again..And this will be reposted publicly.. Everyone should know what a sham this is. I used to be one of the people that donated generously I might add just çhill and give me a moment the next time I am asked…I have worked all my life as an engineer by trade but I get we can only be who and what we are.
Suggested solution:
Well if it isn't a Christian organization I guess nothing keep everything as is... Otherwise maybe you should make sure your staff is a little more humane.. personally I will never be back so do what you want..
