My complaint:
Why do they force those elderlydisabled with strict food restrictions forced to eat outside even during bad weather at the woman’s shelter
Suggested solution:
Allowing the elderly to eat indoors like a civilized person. They not taking it to their room. If they have a food restriction, then having a meal brought to them only to be forced to eat in outshine the rain, snow and wind. I understand they are in a shelter but they can’t enjoy a meal in comfort. Why can’t they eat it in the dining area. The staff are not nutritionist and they meals they cook are not kosherhalal and do not offer substitutes. And Maggie the director also Alicia Brooks the emergency director even went as far and took away a privilege from another elderly lady who eats TV dinners every night. Salvation shows no compassion towards the senior citizens diet restrictions. There are no store in walking distance and public transportation bus stop is far with those with disabilities. My mother tried to walk to store and fell and had to be taken to the emergency room by ambulance.
