My complaint:
We are a commercialgovernment customer. Called and spoke to Theodore pertaining to a open order from October that we STILL have item(s) on backorder. This in turn has put our store charge card(s) on hold.
As a State division, we are required to follow purchasing guidelines which includes paying for order(s) once completed.
Theodore explained that we are to pay for the item(s) received billed whether the order is completed or not.
I tried to explain that we follow guidelines per the State. Theodore re-stated his statement then hung up on me.
Suggested solution:
Unfortunately, Home Depot is notorious for not resolving complaints such as this one.
The only suggestion is to place Theodore through a program on how to handle customers in a professional, polite manner.
