My complaint:

Home Depot and the way they do buisness by lying to Veterans!! before I ordered a mattress online through Home Depot.com I called and talked to a sales representative on the phone about the military discount. She said While we can’t give the discount on line, you can take the receipt to your local Home Depot and they will give you the military discount. I did this not once but Twice, each time being rudely told by your sales representative at the Home Depot Name was Janelli that she WAS NOT GOING TO DO IT!! I then requested to talk to the manager and I had to wait again for at least 15-20 minutes with no showing. As I was walking outside I talked to a wonderful employee whom I must state treated me with respect and courtesy. I asked if the manager was available, she pointed me to Carlos, whom I went to speak with. Carlos informed that if I wait until the delivery of the said mattress, to bring up the receipt and he would give me $150.00 for the trouble I went through.

The mattress did came to my home and I have put it in my bedroom. Today, I took the receipt, and the copy of the order back to Home Depot and talked to the same rude as hell employee Janelli and she again told me no. She called the assistant Manager Mitch whom snapped at me I don’t know what Carol’s told you I’m not going to give you a refund. I was so upset that I turned around and with my wife started to leave Home Depot. Not looking we went to the entrance where I literally had one of your female employees to jump in my face and tell me this is not the exit. I lifted my hand with my 8 x 11 envelope held up and replied Don’t. My wife and I turned away and started to the appropriate exit and she started jumping in my face again and I Told her again DON’T. She waited until I got 2-3 Feet away and screamed so every one in the store could hear Have a nice Day. I didn’t say anything further I immediately Departed the store.

You don’t want to give me my military discount after being lied to …..Fine, I will not go shopping where your employees degrade and Disrespect veterans with Disabilities that are unseen like they are a piece of shit by yelling and screaming to them so they while store can Hear is NOT OK!!! I WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING PUBICALLY DISCRIMINATED AND EMBARRASSED By ANYONE!!!

Suggested solution:

I am demanding a formal apology in a letter from the CEO of Home Depot for the way his Manager Carlos, Janelli, and the Assistant Manager, Mitch treated myself By lying, Discriminating, Harassing, and PUBICALLY Humiliating me in this store. If not, I will seek legal alternatives for their actions!!
