My complaint:
We purchased LG stainless steel fridge from Home Depot in early April 2021.
413- Original scheduled delivery day 419
417- call from LG to change deliver date to 427
419- call at 8am saying fridge is on its way now (we were prepared for it to be delivered on 427 and had bought a mini fridge for interim. NOT HAPPY)
419- delivery team left the WRONG FRIDGE and had to return and remove wrong one and install correct one. Before they left, they did not hook up water with the hose we purchased.
Because they changed the delivery date without notice, we weren’t able to get to the townhouse to see the fridge within 48 hours policy because it wasn’t supposed to be delivered until 427!
422 We inspected fridge and found significant DAMAGE including BIG dent in side of fridge and large gouge in wall
FYI- the delivery team purposefully pushed the dented portion of the fridge again the right wall (and installed it off center) in order to hide the dent (see attached photos).
Suggested solution:
The delivery company said we were outside the policy window to have fridge replaced and offered $250 to us. But they never paid it. I have sent many, many emails to Home Depot and Taylor (Mgr) said she is working with delivery company. But no refund after more than 3 months.
