My complaint:

Home Depot delivery began unloading fence pallets onto my property to the right of the garage BEFORE I was asked to sign permission waiver or asked where to place product. After I signed waiver, delivery man started to unload to the left of property after I went inside. 2 minutes later it occurred to me to make him aware of the septic but I was too late.

Septic lid was broken because I signed the waiver they say too bad for me. Can I fight the waiver since I wasn’t given anything to read, just a place on the delivery man’s phone. All he said was that I needed to sign to give them permission to come onto my property. If he had asked about underground items I certainly would have mentioned it.

Suggested solution:

They could have offered to pay for the new septic lid ($1350) or negotiated to pay for half.
