My complaint:

Good morning, I would like to complain about my experience I had taking the 6:01 am train out of Mercantile station. When I arrived at approx 550am I noticed they were NO LIGHTING where the elevators are or rail tracks. I was on elevator by tracks and almost STEPPED ON A MAN SLEEPING IN ELEVATOR!!!! I could not see him at first because if the NON EXISTENT lighting. I was terrified. I didn’t know if was hurt, dead, or sleeping. I asked if he was alright and to be honest didn’t know if I should ride down with him. I had a suitcase that’s why I took elevator. This literally scared me to tears. I reported this to the conductor and he informed me that he would write it up. The man never touched me or threatened me. I literally stepped on him because I couldn’t see him.

Suggested solution:

Leave the timer for the station till 6:15 am. This is clearly a no brainer for the safety of your passengers. I guarantee there will be a lawsuit from someone if they’re attacked because of the lighting,
