My complaint:
I booked a return flight for my granddaughter and myself to Halifax. At the time, I thought it was safe for us to fly. When I told my physician, he told me to cancel, that due to my autoimmune disorder, it was not safe for me to fly. I contacted Swoop, asking to postpone my trip until it was safe for me. The answer was No! I was informed the Only recourse I had was to rebook my flight. This is not a reasonable solution under the circumstances, no one has any idea when it will be safe! I have dealt with Westjet for years, exceptional customer service! Since it was a flight for 2 this time, I tried to save some money, with Swoop….. The joke was on ME!
Suggested solution:
I would have been very happy to have received a credit for a future flight, when it was safe for me. I would have loved a refund, $1200.00 is a lot of money for a widow, but I realize that will never happen. Obviously, customer service take a very back seat to customer service!
