My complaint:
Sunday 23rd May . Entered @ 5 40pm, seated @ 6pm. Placed order @ 6 10pm, waitress told us they were very short staffed. Other diners were seated soon after arrival. 7pm still had not received food. Overmanager was clearing tables leaving dishes on the bar, tables were not washed.At 7 15 diners who had been seated @7pm received meals. Gobsmacked I went to the manager, and complained, At 7 30 our meals. Appeared. 2 leg dinner with salad, white meat chicken dinner with fries,very basic meals. The salad was an unchopped chunk of lettuce 14 of a tomato. No apology was received, Waitress, was doing her best, to serve, in poor circumstances and did apologize. FYI the dinning room was was only half opened , with only two waitresses.
Suggested solution:
This manager needs to learn how to manage restaurant, if he has no staff,The dinning room should have been closed. They were also doing pickup , delivery and drive thru. also no one was answering the phone. The least he could have done was discount our meals. Apologize, offer free dessert or comp the bil. Needl,ess to say, this is one Swiss Chalet, not frequent again
