My complaint:

My husband and I went to Swiss Chalet for the Thanksgiving dinner they advertised. We were seated and then waited half an hour to be served. We then ordered drinks and the meal and were told that there were no more cranberries. We said that was fine. Forty five minutes later the waiter informed us that there was no more stuffing and that the chicken was still cooking. We were offered two cups of soup to tide us over, which were lukewarm. Finally, the French fries and chicken came. For dessert, I wanted coconut cream pie which they were out of and lemon meringue pie which they were out of. They only had pumpkin left. We wanted it to go, as we were there for almost two hours. We did not get any chocolates, as advertised. They were probably out of those also. During all this time the waiter kept apologizing. It was not his fault and we felt sorry for him, as he was not to blame. We should have gone to St. Huberts or ordered a pizza!

Suggested solution:

Our complaint should be resolved by making sure that the owner and manager step up and make sure that they have enough stock to feed their paying customers in good faith when they come in to dine, especially on a holiday weekend. Some people do not have families or are alone and they wanted to have a decent holiday meal. Very disappointing!
