My young son wanted to take me out for dinner on Mothers Day, Sunday may14th.
My son doesn’t have much money but he insisted to treat me on mothers day.
I decided to cash in some of my air miles to help him with the bill and I got two ten dollar evouchers that I printed out.
It says on the e vouchers to present them at the time of ordering which I did and the waiter seemed confused by them and said he would take them later when paying the bill.
When it came time to pay the bill he was again all confused by these vouchers and my son became embarrassed and Said to forget about the vouchers because he obviously didn’t know what to do with them.
I am really furious. Obviously you are not bothering to train your staff and what should have been a pleasant experience just turned out to be an embarrassing mess for both my son and myself and the waiter seemed just relieved he wasn’t going to gave to deal with them but I am really upset because it shouldn’t have happened I am really disgusted with swiss chalet that you claim to participate in this air miles program but obviously don’t train your staff as to how to apply them to their bill. Thus happened between 5 to 6 pm April 14.
Explain to me why I am stuck with coupons your staff obviously don't want to deal with and are not trained as to what to do with them. I was trying to save my son some money on the bill but that didn't work out because of your staff. Perhaps you should rethink your participation in the air miles program. Your customers should not be embarrassed into not using them and taking them home and making them of no use or value at all. I am going to takeThis to Twitter and warn other people about this.
