My complaint:
Last week I took a chance and purchased a 6 sandwich from Subway in Waldorf, Maryland. The bread was tough, and to make matters worse, I had the sandwich toasted, which I have always for as long as I can remember. When I bit into the sandwich I felt something crunch under my permanent bridge in the front of my mouth.
For the past few years I have noticed that the bread at Subway in my neighborhood in Prince George’s County, MD is stale and crumbly. I’d like to know why that is? The ends of the bread loaf is tough or hard. This seems to be a prevailing problem in the restaurants in my neighborhood. I don’t know if it is a change in the product, or only certain stores are guilty of this. Over the past years I have stopped purchasing sandwiches from Subway, and I encourage others that I know not to buy. I don’t know what is causing this issue. Is the bread fresh in Virginia or the District of Columbia? To date, I have not visited any Subway restaurant in these locations in many years.
When I visit my dentist next week, if I discover that my teeth under the bridge in my mouth have broken or are cracked I will file another complaint to have your company pay for damages. All of this is unacceptable. The workers at the store don’t admit that something is not edible at their stores. IN addition, the meat and cheese section of the counter are shielded behind a metal wall, as well as the glass counter. It is almost like they are covering up an inferior product, not wanting the customers to see what they are putting on the sandwiches.
Suggested solution:
An immediate resolution would be a demonstrative change in the product that myself and my neighbors are experiencing. I'm not able to determine if this aberration is indicative of only where I live, or if the entire chain of stores are evident in this mediocrity. I will, however, be on the lookout for differences in the food quality that is served from neighborhood to neighborhood. If there are differences I will make sure to post on social media and complain.
