My complaint:
I was a frequent visitor of Subway. Location is Highway 97 and 24A in Cambridge. I was in line to order a sub. I watched what was going on. This young girl was taking care of the veggie section of the process. I watched her, a few people were ahead of me, go to the cash, go to the back room for a cookie box, wipe her nose twice, ALL WITH THE SAME GLOVES ON. When my turn came up, the guy was amazing, he got called off the floor from cleaning. He washed his hands, put on some gloves and did the meat portion of my sub. He was about to hand my sub to this girl, and I spoke up and told her NOT to touch my sub unless she washed her hands and put on new gloves. Thankfully, the meat guy said he would finish my sub. He even changed his gloves before he put the veggies on.. I appreciate that guy, wish I has gotten his name. After that I would not go back to Subway. That location had been run by a different management before this incident. A lady named Stacey used to work there and she was amazing. So, I boycotted your Subway location for 2 years and told everyone I knew about what happened. I work in Healthcare at the hospital, so a very wide audience. I recently went back figuring there may have been a staff change. I was correct. I didn’t see that young female. So I stood in line, there were a couple of people ahead of me. I watched your employees, and the same damned thing. They handle other things for example cash, and don’t change their gloves. It is disgusting. I am not sure if you have control over these franchises, but again, I am absolutely appalled by their lack of cleanliness, their total disregard for policy, and their total disregard for the health of their customers. I told the customers in front of me that the workers didn’t have the where with all to change their gloves and walked out. I am not sure how you would correct this problem, but you need to do something.
I do not have a photo or any proof. I would not spend the time to inform you if this were not true. And leave my name and phone number.
Thank you

Suggested solution:
Have the staff at all Subways review the rules of sanitation, change their gloves, wash their hands. When you have gloves on, do NOT touch anything except the sub. Change gloves between handling the meat and the veggies. Change gloves between subs as someone may be allergic to a meat or a veggie. ALWAYS CHANGE YOUR GLOVES BETWEEN SUBS NO MATTER HOW BUSY. Someone may ask for olives, and if the person doesn't change their gloves, the next person may be allergic to olives and have a fatal reaction.
