My complaint:

This subway location needs to be retrain on the purpose of curbside pickup
On June 4th 1:30pm
I place a mobile order for 3 subway sandwich meals
I paid using my American Express Card $42
As I was enroute staff from subway call me and stated I had to come inside and show my ID and credit card
I explain the purpose of curbside pickup is so I don’t have to come inside
the staff insisted I much come inside
I said no you come outside to verify my ID and credit card after going back and fourth with him
he agreed to come outside upon arrival I check I have arrived on the mobile app the staff came to my car I handed him my ID and credit card hand to hand exchange during this pandemic the staff then said give me 5 minutes I will bring your order out
I waited and waited 10 minutes in the car 92 degrees outside
they were now preparing my curbside order finally he comes out with my order and says all order over $20 you must come inside and show ID and credit card you use on the mobile app
I ask if Subway Corporate Office is aware of this rule he says yes.
I said this is not how curbside work in affluent neighborhoods
I have a long history of being a subway customer.
I’ve use this mobile app to purchase lunch for my employees and for catering
I’ve never had to come inside and show ID and my credit card
he said we have some people commit fraud
I said write it off.

Suggested solution:

Retrain the entire staff on what curbside is
How it help during this pandemic.
