My complaint:
Twice now, and at two different locations, I have tried to redeem Subway coupons which were included in our local newspaper. In each case, business managers have look confused and made excuses for why they couldn’t accept them. Most recently the coupons comprised 4 color pages and stated $43 in average savings
In all fairness, the coupons mention participating restaurants… The problems is, there are NO participating restaurants in the subscription radius of our local newspaper! This is a little worse than deceptive in my opinion.
This is not a local problem. I even tried taking one of the coupons to a neighboring town about 15 miles away and got exactly the same treatment.
Suggested solution:
As I have now stopped patronizing Subway altogether, not just our local store, I don't care much what they do.
