My complaint:
As you added booze to the stores you eliminated many , many excellent products. Honestly, I shop with low sodium, low sugar, good quality as a priority. I spend bank at you stores, 10g a year for my family of two. I travel to Dedham because the JP store is filthy and disgusting; visit lately? I have contacted you before and was told essentially , we are sorry but too bad, sugar, salt, fat and booze sells. I lodged a direct complaint to the manager at the Dedham store one month ago. In the past few years you have stopped carrying at least 10 items that I purchased weekly . Here is a modified list of no-more: Stop and Shop coconutalmond granola bars, Vermont English Muffins, Green Juice by V8 ( 20 versions of high sugar apple ,cranberry, mango etc drinks.) No more tubes of Dill and Basil ( produce dept. ) Great Grains coconut cereal, Boars Head Dill Haavarti, PearHoney or Peach cottage cheese to name a few. We have an epidemic of diabetes and obesity in our country. Fats kids grow into fat adults with many medical issues.
I am disgusted and am considering shopping at Wegmans, clean, well stocked, great to-go foods and close location. You even make me work to use your Stop and Shop card, have to selected how many points before shopping or filling gas? You are a money grab and it shows in the tensions visible on the faces of the nice staff, in Dedham not in JP.
Suggested solution:
Resume carrying: Vermont English Muffins-stop n shop multi grain are legit inedible! If cardboard was a food it would be your English muffin. Carry GREEN JUICE!! Not everyone wants diabetes in a glass. Carry Pear and Honey Cottage Cheese and Great Grains Coconut cereal( you have 4 other flavors- blueberry, banana. pecan and raisin.
