Stop and Shop complaint: SICK OF BEING AUDITED AND HAVING ISSUES!

My complaint:

I have been a customer of Stop and Shop for years. The idea of the scanning is great but i get audited often, especially if i only buy a few items. The last time i had five and had to rescan, fine. But now today again i get audited and have to rescan my seven items. They could not figure out how to get rid of my scanned order and it would not accept my card because it was attached to the items scanned on the phone so not only was i inconvenienced having to rescan all my items, i could not even attach it to my card to get my rewards!

Suggested solution:

Something has to be done with this issue because honestly it is not worth the stress. I don't care about being audited and i have NEVER had an issue with something not scanned but it is not worth it to shop here with this inconvenience. Shoprite is cheaper but a little further but may be worth it to drive there than to be harassed like a criminal stealing something and then no one in the store even knows how to do an audit when you use your phone as the scanner!

I was audited today, one of many audits here at Dumont Stop & Shop. I was purchasing 3 cases of water, nothing else, so I walked out because this is ridiculous. I’m constantly audited and feel like I’m being treated like a criminal. The manager and staff don’t care either. STOP THE UNFAIR AUDITS. I GET AUDITED AT NO OTHER STORES EVER.
