My complaint:
I am unsure exactly what it is called, but when I went to purchase porterhouse or T-bone steaks at Stop Shop in Norwich Connecticut, they were pre-wrapped or vacuum wrapped. I inquired with one of the butchers he told me this is the way they are going to be sent to them from Rhode Island. There was a lot of conversation between myself, the butcher and other customers. Seems to consensus of all the customers was they were not happy with this change. Myself included. We much prefer having the butchers in the store cut our meats and wrap them. Is much easier to tell the quality of what we are purchasing. I know myself and for other customers that were there today all agree that if this is the way it’s going to continue at stop and shop we are no longer going to purchase there.

My suggestion is to go back to the old method. Take a month or two and notice if there is a decline and your meat sales.
I have not bought any meats from Stop and Shop since they rolled out the pre packed stuff. I agree with going back to the product being produced in store.
